Hisense Broadband to Demonstrate Series of 100G and 200G Per Lane Optical Solutions

San Jose, California, March 25, 2024— Hisense Broadband Multimedia Technology Co., Ltd. (Hisense Broadband) announced today that it will showcase series of 100G and 200G per lane optical solutions for the next generation Cloud, AI/ML and network applications.

“As the demand for optical module solutions increases rapidly for AI/ML applications, from the market in general and from our customers in particular, Hisense has invested heavily to introduce a suite of new 400G and 800G single-mode and multi-mode products into the market, using VCSEL,EML and Silicon Photonics optics based on 100G and 200G per Lane PAM4 technologies. To meet  our customer needs globally, we have ramped up our module production capabilities significantly in all of our factories, especially in our Thailand and New Jersey facilities.”said Dr. Jin Hong, Executive VP and President of Data Center Business, Hisense Broadband.

Hisense Broadband will perform live demonstration of the following products at Booth #2029: 

·  Live demo of 800G OSFP DR4 / FR4 based on 200G per lane optics with 8:4 Gearbox DSP supporting 8x100G electrical interfaces. 

·  Live demo of series of LPO modules on the switch including

1) Silicon Photonics based 800G OSFP DR8 and 400G QSFP112 DR4

2) EML based 800G OSFP 2xFR4

3) VCSEL based 800G OSFP SR8 and 400G QSFP112 SR4

·  Live demo of 800G OSFP SR8 solution with 100m MMF.

Hisense will participate OIF CEI 112G and 400G ZR interoperability demo with various partners at Booth #1323

·  800G 2xFR4 and SR8 LPO demo. A notable highlight of our participation will be the establishment of a 100m connection of SR8 LPO between Hisense and OIF Booths.

·  QSFP-DD 400G ZR+ demo with 100km fiber networks. 

Hisense will also participate the joint live demo with partners:

·  OSFP 800G DR8 LPO at Spirent Booth #1515;

·  OSFP 800G SR8 LPO at Macom Booth #3025, and Multilane Booth #1609;
