Hisense Comes out Class E1 XGS-PON OLT Optical Module

As the technology leader in the optical access market, Hisense comes out Class E1 XGS-PON OLT optical module, which supports 33dB link budget. It can be used for Class E1 XGS-PON deployment.

XGS-PON is a type of symmetrical 10G GPON, and XGS-PON OLT module is used in the center office, which using a 1575~1580nm 9.953Gbps continuous mode laser for downstream and a 1260~1280nm 9.953Gbps burst mode receiver for upstream.  

Hisense XGS-PON OLT optical module support both 9.953Gbps symmetrical upstream and 2.488Gbps asymmetrical upstream, so it can be used for both XGS-PON and XG-PON application. Compared to Class N1/N2 type OLT, Hisense E1 OLT’s reach as high as +6dBm transmitter optical power and as better as -30dBm receiver sensitivity. It is designed to support up to 128 subscribers over distance of up to 20km.
