Hisense Broadband introduces new product for 2017 OFC

2017-03-17 23:21:50

Hisense Broadband Inc. recently introduced its 100G EPON transceiver for access, 200G QSFP-DD 100m and 100G PSM4 QSFP28 transceiver for Datacom. These new products will be demonstrated at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC) at the Los Angeles Convention Center from March 21 to 23 at Hisense Broadband's booth #3339.

As a technical leader in the passive optical access network market, Hisense has made a breakthrough of 100G EPON transceivers, which accelerates the standardization of 100G EPON standard IEEE803.3ca. Both the downstream and upstream optics are O-band lasers, which have less dispersion. The bitrate can reach 25.78Gbps, which can support 103.12Gbps by 4 wavelength multiplex. Hisense is going to display series product of 100G EPON, NGPON2, CPON, XG-PON/XGS-PON and 10G EPON.

In the field of Data center and optical interconnection, Hisense successfully developed 200G QSFP-DD optical module and 200G QSFP-DD 100m AOC. With independent parallel 8 x 25.78Gbps bi-direction link, max power consumption of 3.5W and case operating temperature range from 0 to 70℃, the product is smaller and costs less by using our own IP of COB (Chip on Board) high precision technology. It provides the Data Center with a new generation of solutions with low cost, low power consumption, high density and high rate.

Hisense also released 100G PSM4 QSFP28 optical module based on silicon photonics technology, which enables the monolithic integration of modulators, photonic detectors, etc. The low coupling loss between photonic IC and optical source and fiber array is achieved by automatic alignment with high accuracy. This product will provide a solution for interconnection in Data center over 2km single mode. Hisense is going to display full series product of 100G QSFP28 SR4&CLR4&LR4, 100G CFP2/CFP4 LR4 and 25G SFP28 SR&LR for Data Center, Wireless and Transmission application.
